The FLAMING KNIGHTS MOTORCYCLE CLUB was founded in New Haven, CT on April 27, 1968 in the garage of Leroy Bolden, aka, "King Dragon". Since that time, the phenomenon of Flaming Knighthood has spread into Chapters across the United States from coast to coast. The Washington DC Chapter is proud to become a part of the Flaming Knight experience.

The Flaming Knight Motto is "Born to Wander".
The Flaming Knight Creed is "Second to None".

The Scholey (colors) started as 5 generations;

The first was embroidery (Red Writing with Gold Trim), it displqys the word Flaming on top with a Knight on the bottom.  It also displays MC on the right and New Haven on the bottom of a Denim Vest, on the left across from MC was the  Knight Patch ...   There were few versions of this Vest made

The Second was a 3 Piece Patch with the same embroidery on Yellow Terry Cloth. It displayed Red Writing with a patch of a Knight.

The Third was a 4 piece Rocker with a Knight on a Motorcycle as the center piece.

The Fourth was a single Yellow patch with the Flaming Knights as the logo created by Little Dragon.

The Fifth and Final patch was commissioned by Little Dragon and accepted by the National Flaming Knights Motorcycle Club of America at an National Meeting in Denver CO. 1997 .  It was aso accepted by the Landover, MD., chapter which The Mother Chapter.  In the Landover, MD Chapter, Kenny Black aka Blackmagic became the President of President a phrase coined by the Late King Dragon (1st President of Presidents).

That's how The Flaming Knights was BORN....
